A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council was held Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 7:03 p.m., in the Temporary City Council Chambers, 2™ Floor, 100 Freight St., Pawtucket

Present — President Pro-Tempore Araujo; Councilors Gregor, Moran, Moreno, Rubio, and Wildenhain.

Absent — President Mercer; Councilors Coderre and Stachowiak.

President Pro-Tempore Araujo presided.

 

1.      The reading of the records of the November 5, 2025 City Property Committee meeting, Committee on Claims and Pending Suits meeting, and City Council meeting, and the November 10, 2025 Finance Committee meeting, and City Council meeting, was dispensed with and the records were APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.

 

2.      Upon motion made by Councilor Moran, seconded by Councilor Moreno, the *Consent Agenda was APPROVED on a unanimous voice vote:

B.     Communication from Jeannine S. Bourski, Deputy Finance Director, to the Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council (Statement of Estimated, Realized and Unrealized Revenues for the fiscal period July 1, 2025, through October 31, 2025)

E.     THE FOLLOWING CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES AGAINST THE CITY WAS REFERRED TO THE LAW DEPARTMENT AND RI INTERLOCAL TRUST:

3.      UPON RECOMMENDATION OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE, THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS APPROVED ON A ROLL CALL VOTE, AS FOLLOWS:

NOES - 0.

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ABATEMENT OF TAXES FOR MOTOR VEHICLES, REAL ESTATE AND TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY FOR APRIL, MAY, AND JUNE 2025, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $10,192.45

 

4.      UPON RECOMMENDATION OF THE FINANCE COMMITTEE, THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS APPROVED ON A ROLL CALL VOTE, AS FOLLOWS: >

AUGUST, AND SEPTEMBER 2025, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $133,164.20

 

5.      The following resolution was APPROVED on a roll call vote, as follows:

6.      Communication from His Honor, Mayor Donald R. Grebien, to the Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council, submitting the following appointment as a member of the Riverfront Commission, FOR CONFIRMATION:
