A regular session of the Pawtucket City Council was held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 7:26 p.m., in the Temporary City Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, 100 Freight St., Pawtucket, RI.
Present – President Mercer; Councilors Araujo, Coderre, Gregor, Moran, Moreno, Stachowiak and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilor Rubio.
President Mercer presided.
1. The reading of the records of the June 10, 2026 City Property Committee meeting, Committee on Claims and Pending Suits meeting, and City Council meeting was dispensed with and the records were APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.
2. Communication from His Honor, Mayor Donald R. Grebien, to the Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council, submitting the following appointment as a member of the Parks Commission, FOR CONFIRMATION:

588 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ABATEMENT OF TAXES FOR MOTOR VEHICLES, REAL ESTATE AND TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY FOR JANUARY, FEBRUARY AND MARCH 2026, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $43,552.03
5. UPON RECOMMENDATION FROM THE CITY PROPERTY COMMITTEE, THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION WAS APPROVED ON A ROLL CALL VOTE, AS FOLLOWS:

588 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH OSORIOS REALTY, LLC TO INSTALL A STAIRWAY ON THE CITY’S SIDEWALK FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 192 COLUMBUS AVENUE
Upon motion made by Councilor Gregor, seconded by the entire City Council, the meeting adjourned in memory of Jose “Djozinha” Duarte at 7:31 PM.
