A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners was held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 7:17 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

Present – President Mercer, Councilors Araujo, Coderre, Gregor, Moreno, Stachowiak and Wildenhain.

 

Absent – Councilors Moran and Rubio.

 

Chairperson Mercer presided.

 

 

The reading of the records of June 18, 2024 was dispensed with and the records were APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk, Video

Ms. Araujo stated that she has been open since 2013.   Her establishment offers painting classes and complimentary beer or wine.   She asked for the theater license to have the opportunity to sell beer or wine as part of the artistic performances. 

 

She stated that the business can hold 77 people between the two rooms, one public and one private.   She would sell beer and wine only.  She has daytime and evening events and her evening events are typically done by 9:30 p.m.

 

There were no other speakers.  The public hearing was closed.

Ms. Rosania stated that the only change that she would be doing to the establishment would be some painting.   She also would like to add breakfast and stay open later.

 

Her closing hours would be Sunday to Wednesday at 9:00 p.m.; Thursday at 11:00 p.m.; and Saturday at 1:00 a.m.

 

Ms. Rosania stated that there would be six employees and she would be one of two chefs.   She has been in food service for the last 16 years.  She stated that it would be her first time owning a restaurant.   It would have a Latin fusion menu.
