WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20, 2025

 

A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners was held Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., in the Temporary City Council Chambers, 2^nd floor, 100 Freight Street, Pawtucket, RI.

 

Present – Councilors Araujo, Coderre, Moreno, Rubio, Stachowiak and Wildenhain.

 

Absent – President Mercer, Councilor Gregor and Moran.

 

Vice-Chairperson Araujo presided.

 

1.      The reading of the records of August 6, 2025 was dispensed with and the records were APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk.08/06/2025)

 

2.      Upon motion made by Councilor Wildenhain, seconded by Councilors Moreno and Rubio, the *Consent Agenda was APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote.

 

3.      *THE FOLLOWING PETITIONS FOR LICENSES WERE APPROVED ON A UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE:

ENTERTAINMENT & EXPANSION OF PREMISE (One Day) –

 

Petition of Fidjos DjDjabraba for license to have a Festival and for a one-day expansion of their Class BV Liquor License and to serve food and alcoholic beverages at 682 Roosevelt Avenue, parking lot (outdoors) on Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. LIC#EVT-25-65

Stipulations:

1.      No glass used outside, only plastic.

2.      Outside cleaned up by 10:00 a.m. the next day.

6.      Communication from Richard Carlone, owner of BTS Tire & Service Store, 580 Pawtucket Avenue, to Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners. (Requesting Corporation name change from BTS Co Inc., to 113 Broadway LLC) was READ AND ORDERED FILED AND THE REQUEST WAS APPROVED ON A UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE.

 

 

Upon motion made by Councilor Wildenhain, seconded by Councilor Moreno, the meeting was adjourned at 12:06 p.m.
