A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners was held Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 7:07 p.m., in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

Present – President Mercer, Councilors Araujo, Coderre, Moran, Moreno, Rubio and Wildenhain.

 

Absent – Councilors Gregor and Stachowiak.

 

Chairperson Mercer presided.

 

1.      The reading of the records of February 5, 2025 was dispensed with and the records were APPROVED as prepared by the Clerk

 

2.      Upon motion made by Councilor Araujo, seconded by Councilor Wildenhain, the *Consent Agenda was APPROVED, on a unanimous voice vote.

 

3.      *THE FOLLOWING PETITIONS FOR LICENSES WERE APPROVED ON A UNANIMOUS VOICE VOTE:

A Guy and His Pie (A Guy and His Pie LLC) 560 Mineral Spring Avenue, Unit#2-114, LIC#LQB-25-1

 

Speaking was Brian Cauti, 343 Cummington Street, New Bedford, MA, applicant.

 

 

Mr. Cauti was asking for a beer and wine liquor license.

 

He is moving to a different unit in the building.

 

He has been open four years.

 

The restaurant is take-out only now. He will have some seats in the new space.

 

He will have three employees.

 

The hours will be Wednesday through Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

 

There were no other speakers. The hearing was closed.

6.      Communication from Lt. Joseph Skahan, Pawtucket Police Department, Animal Shelter Liaison, to Honorable Members of the Pawtucket City Council. (Report on Harmony – 65 Patterson Avenue) was POSTPONED until March 5, 2025, on a unanimous voice vote.

 

 

Upon motion made by Councilor Araujo, seconded by Councilor Moreno, the meeting was adjourned at 7:15 p.m.
