A regular session of the Pawtucket Board of License Commissioners was held Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 6:46 p.m., in the Temporary City Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, 100 Freight St., Pawtucket, RI. 
Present – President Mercer, Councilors Araujo, Coderre, Moran, Moreno, Rubio, Stachowiak and Wildenhain.
Absent – Councilor Gregor.
Chairperson Mercer presided.

Speaking was Fares El Tabchi, 31 Ledgewood Road, Framingham, MA., applicant.
Mr. El Tabchi owns the corner store; another person owns the rest of the complex.
He owns a Pizza Shop and store in Attleboro.
He will serve sandwiches, coffee, tea, a couple different beers and no hard liquor. He will have a one-person band for entertainment. Hookah will be more than 51% of revenue.
Mr. El Tabchi is working with the Fire Department on Ventilation. Occupancy is 15-20 people. He has enough parking in front of the store. He will have valet park in his portion of lot. He will invest 50k into the business. He will have six tables.
Speaking was Kerry Kuczek, 81 Enfield Street, Pawtucket, RI.
Mrs. Kuczek’s concern is parking. She owns a salon in the complex with evening and weekend hours. There are five spots for the Hookah Lounge. Deliveries will block the lot.

The next speakers were Paula Ortez and Rudis Ortez,
This will be their second location with liquor.
They are ok with an 11:00 pm closing time to start with.
