You are requested to attend a meeting of the City Council Ordinance Committee, to be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 5:20 p.m. in the City Council Office, Room 303, 3rd floor, City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, RI.

 

The purpose of this meeting is for discussion and/or consideration of the following:

 

1.      PUBLIC INPUT PERIOD Must Sign-in at City Hall or Join via Zoom 10 minutes prior to meeting.

 

2.      AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ARTICLE X OF CHAPTER 50 AND AMENDING ARTICLE VI OF CHAPTER 63 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET 1996, REGARDING THE SEALER OF WEIGHTS AND MEASURES.

 

3.      AN ORDINANCE IN AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 388 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PAWTUCKET, 1996, ENTITLED “VEHICLES & TRAFFIC” (Tidewater Stadium Zone Parking)

AMENDMENT:

 

Addition of § 388-69 Stadium Zone delineated.

 

B. The Public Safety Director, after consultation with the Public Works Director, may expand the Stadium Zone and add streets as the City deems necessary to safeguard the public health, safety and welfare.
