Please Note in Accordance with Section 42-46-6 (b) the Council May Review, Discuss and/or take Action on the following items:

1)         Discussion and Consideration of Edward Smith, E.P. Smith Properties, LLC Request for proposed amendments to the Comprehensive Community Plan Future Land Use Map and the Zoning Ordinance Amendment concerning 8 Richmond Townhouse Road, designated as Lot 19, on Tax Assessor’s Plat 6C

a)         An amendment to the Zoning Map changing the designation of the property from Residential Use – Two Acre (R-2) to General Business (GB)

b)         An amendment to the Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use Map changing the designation of the property from Medium Density Residential to General Business

 

2)         Discussion and Consideration on Proposed Amendment to the Richmond Code of Ordinances with the addition of Chapter 4.34 “Senior Activities Committee”. This amendment would formalize the Senior Activities Committee

I.          NEW BUSINESS

Please Note in Accordance with Section 42-46-6 (b) the Council May Review, Discuss and/or take Action on the following items:  

1)         Discussion and Consideration of a Request of Hillsdale Mobile Home Park to install a Cross Walk with Pedestrian Crossing signs on Gardiner Road; with Authorization of the Town Clerk to Advertise for Public Hearing Amendments to the Richmond Code of Ordinances 10.6.20 entitled “ Places where vehicles are required to stop”.

 

J.         COMMUNICATIONS, PETITIONS, AND PROCLAMATIONS AND RESOLUTIONS FROM OTHER RHODE ISLAND CITIES AND TOWNS

The Council may acknowledge any of the listed Communications and Proclamations and Resolutions. Should any member wish to have a conversation on any of the matters, the item will be placed on a future agenda for review, discussion and/or potential action and/or vote.

1)         Pursuant to R.I. Gen. Laws -42-46-5 (a)(2) Regarding Potential Litigation concerning alleged encroachments on Wood Road.
