1. May 27, 2025 Regular Meeting Minutes
1. Waiver Request - Preliminary Plan – Public Hearing - Major Land Development Project - Stilson Road Trade Center – Shoreline Properties, Inc., 400 South County Trail, Suite A-207, Exeter, RI 02822 (applicant) and Sycamore Land Trust, 75 Stilson Road, Wyoming, RI 02898 (owner) for a waiver from Article 13, Section 13.12.1(a) for their proposed skilled trades center application, located at 67 Stilson Road, Assessor’s Plat 4B, Lot 57.
The Planning Board will discuss, consider, and possible vote upon the applicant’s requested waiver from Article 13, Section 13.12.1(a) of the Land Development and Subdivision Regulations.
2. Preliminary Plan – Public Hearing - Major Land Development Project - Stilson Road Trade Center – Shoreline Properties, Inc., 400 South County Trail, Suite A-207, Exeter, RI 02822 (applicant) and Sycamore Land Trust, 75 Stilson Road, Wyoming, RI 02898 (owner) for a proposed skilled trades center, located at 67 Stilson Road, Assessor’s Plat 4B, Lot 57.
The Planning Board will discuss, consider, and possibly vote on the Preliminary Plan application for the proposed Stilson Road Trade Center major land development project.
3. Workshop – Special-Use Permit Review
The Planning Board will:
1) Discuss the uses that are presently allowed through Special-Use Permits,
2) Review how these uses may presently be defined and/or described,
3) Consider whether the uses that are allowed through Special-Use Permits should be permitted by-right, prohibited, or permitted through the Special-Use Permit process,
4) Review the drafted criteria for each Special-Use Permit use.
The Planning Board may:
1) Direct the Town staff to draft use code definitions and/or descriptions for future review by the Planning Board.
