Pursuant to R.I.G.L. § 42-46-7(b)(1), “[t]he minutes shall be public records and unofficial minutes shall be available to the public at the office of the public body within thirty-five (35) days of the meeting or at the next regularly scheduled meeting, whichever is earlier, except where the disclosure would be inconsistent with §§ 42-46-4 and 42-46-5 or where the public body by majority vote extends the time period for the filing of the minutes and publicly states the reason.” The rationale for the request is that the Planning Clerk needs additional time to complete the minutes for the August 12, 2025 and August 26, 2025 meetings.
1. Preliminary Plan – Decision – Millar Minor Subdivision – Richard I. Millar Trust, Dated April 19, 2005, c/o Dana K. Millar and Lorna M. Perrson, 160 Nordic Trail, Charlestown, RI 02813 (applicant/owner) for a two-lot minor subdivision, located at 0 Hillsdale Road, Plat 5D, Lot 14. The proposal, if approved, would result in the creation of one new lot from the existing 78.3+/- acre parcel.
At the Planning Board’s August 26, 2025 meeting, the Board voted to approve the Preliminary Plan application, subject to their approval of a written decision, drafted by Town staff. The Planning Board will discuss, consider, and possibly vote on the drafted written decision.
1. Workshop – Article 10, Richmond Land Development and Subdivision Regulations
The Planning Board will discuss and consider proposed amendments to Article 10 of the Richmond Land Development and Subdivision Regulations. No votes will be taken in relation to this agenda item.
