The Planning Board will discuss, consider, and vote to appoint a Planning Board Chair, a Planning Board Vice Chair, and a Planning Board Secretary.

3.      Annual Planning Board Report to Town Council Video
Pursuant to Title 4, Chapter 4.28, Section 4.28.040(a) of the Richmond Code of Ordinances, “[t]he Planning Board shall report annually to the Town Council, summarizing the work during the preceding year and recommending programs, plans, and actions for future development.” The Planning Board will review the summary of work completed in 2025, and discuss, consider, and vote on the summary, which shall be submitted to the Town Council. Further, the Planning Board will discuss, consider, and vote on any recommendations for “programs, plans, and actions for future development”, which shall be submitted to the Town Council.

E.     New Business: Video

1.      Preliminary PlanPublic HearingComprehensive Permit – Switch Road Partners Comprehensive Permit – 299 Switch Road Partners, P.O. Box 38, Wakefield, RI 02880 (applicant/owner) for a Comprehensive Permit application, consisting of the creation of eight (8) new lots for development, the creation of a lot for the existing single-family home on the property, and the creation of one (1) open space lot.
The Planning Board will discuss, consider, and possibly vote on the Preliminary Plan at this meeting.

F.     Updates and/or Informational Items: Video

1.      The Planning Board’s joint meeting with the Town Council to discuss Special Use Permit criteria will take place on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Hall.
