The Town of Richmond Planning Board will conduct a site walk at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 0 Shannock Village Road, Assessor’s Plat 10D, Lot 26, in relation to the following application:

Major Land Development Project – Shannock Mill Redevelopment Project – Application of Shannock Mill Project, LLC (applicant/owner), 113 Memorial Boulevard West, Newport, RI 02840 for a proposed Major Land Development Project at Assessor’s Plat 10D, Lot 26. The proposed major land development project consists of the creation of a mixed-use development.

Pursuant to Article 5, Section 5.7 of the Land Development and Subdivision Regulations, the “Planning Board shall visit the site of the proposed development to see the existing conditions and special features of the property, to identify potential site design issues, and to discuss site design concepts.” Pursuant to Article 5, Section 5.7, Subsection 5.7.3, “[c]omments made during the site walk by Planning Board members, staff, or consultants are not official statements. No formal recommendation or decision shall be made during a site walk.”
