4. Special Town Business - Review, Discussion and/or Potential Action and/or Vote:
A. Update on the final rule for the American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA”)
B. Consideration of creating a Frequently Asked Questions posting on the Town website related to the ARPA funds coming to the Town and the types of projects that might qualify for the funding under ARPA.
C. Authorization for Town Council President Groves and Councilman McCormick to prepare a survey seeking public input on the use of ARPA funds; said survey to be brought back to the Town Council at next month’s ARPA meeting.
D. Authorization for the Town Purchasing Agent, in conjunction with the Town Treasurer, to issue a Request for Qualifications for Professional Consulting Services related to the American Rescue Plan Act, said firm to assist the town in 1) determining if proposed projects would qualify as being acceptable under the rules and guidelines established by the federal government and 2) the administration and accounting required under ARPA.
