A.   An update from EMA Director John Robinson on the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

B.   Recommendation from the Police Chief for the following candidate to be hired from the Police Officer recruitment process:  Lateral recruit candidate Alec J. Allaire for probationary police officer position; terms and conditions of employment in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement with the IBPO.

 

C.   Update from the Police Chief regarding Animal Control Services Agreement negotiations with the Town of Foster.

 

D.   Recommendation of Purchasing Agent and Halliwell Engineering Associates to post a Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for installation of dehumidifiers to the HVAC system of the Police Station; final RFP specifications to be determined by the Purchasing Agent in consultation with Halliwell.

 

E.   Recommendation from the Traffic Safety Committee to restrict the weight limit to 40-tons on Trimtown Road.

 

F.   Update on Patrie v. Town of Scituate (Chopmist Hill Estates), PC-2020-05617

 

G.   Consideration of asking the Plan Commission to amend the Scituate Zoning Ordinance regarding Accessory Family Dwelling Units, to include without limitation review of size and other limitations in light of recent state law changes. 

 

H.   Consideration of asking the Plan Commission to amend the Scituate Zoning Ordinance for inclusion of Farm Accessory business uses, including defining “wineries” and their allowed activities.

 

I.    Consideration of new part-time Building/Planning/Zoning Clerk job description; Authorization to post for said position
