4.   Town Business - Review, Discussion and/or Potential Action and/or Vote:

 

A.   Recommendation from the Human Resources Committee to use American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA”) funds to hire a consultant via a Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) for the purpose of updating job descriptions, employee evaluations, handbook, and/or any other Human Resources policies for non-union employees; authorization for the Town Purchasing Agent, in consultation with the Human Resources Committee Chair to post said RFQ.

 

B.   Update from the Finance Director and/or Treasurer on ARPA funds received and appropriated to date.

 

C.   Authorization for the Public Works Director to proceed with the streetlight replacement program with an expenditure to be funded out of ARPA funds in an amount not to exceed $125,000.  The proposed expenditure to convert the streetlights to LEDs should be recaptured in about four years from the Town’s expected savings in electric costs.

 

D.   Consideration of a request for upgrading the Audio/Visual equipment and systems in the Council Chambers at Town Hall.

 

E.   Consideration of requests for the use of ARPA funds, including those from the Suggestion Box, for possible vote at a future Town Council meeting
