A.   Approval of expenditure for a new 2024 Ford E450 custom-built Life Line “Superliner” Type 1-AD, Class I Emergency Medical Vehicle (rescue) for the North Scituate Fire Department in an amount not to exceed $400,000.00 from Specialty Vehicles, Inc. from the State Master Pricing Agreement; authorization for the EMA Director to sign any and all documents necessary on behalf of the Town; funding from the Public Safety Bond approved by the electors at the 2022 Financial Town Meeting.

 

B.   Approval of expenditure for a new 2023 Ford F550 4x4 custom-built Life Line “Superliner” Type 1-AD, Class I Emergency Medical Vehicle (rescue) for the Hope-Jackson Fire Department in an amount not to exceed $425,000.00 from Specialty Vehicles, Inc.  from the State Master Pricing Agreement; authorization for the EMA Director to sign any and all documents necessary on behalf of the Town; funding from the Public Safety Bond approved by the electors at the 2022 Financial Town Meeting.

 

C.   Consideration of request from the Scituate Prevention Partnership for the Town to participate in a campaign to have “Scituate Going Red” which promotes a drug-free life

 

D.   Recommendation from the Finance Director and Treasurer to hire Katelyn Card as the full-time Finance Director Administrative Assistant with a starting salary of $26/hour for 35 hours per week and other benefits consistent with the Town of Scituate Human Resource Manual.

 

E.   Update from the Finance Director on American Rescue Plan Act (“ARPA”) funds received and appropriated to date

 

F.   Prioritization of requests for ARPA funding with consideration given to reviewing and possibly approving requests from Town Department Heads first followed by non-profit organizations and then other suggestions from the suggestion box

 

G.   Consideration of requests for ARPA funds for possible vote at a future Town Council meeting

 

H.   Consideration of Treasurer’s request to use ARPA funds on possible Town Hall expansion options.
