12. Town Business—Review, Discussion and/or Potential Action and/or Vote:
A. Recommendation from the Police Chief for the following candidate to be hired from the Police Officer recruitment process: Lateral recruit candidate Oliver D. Casale for probationary police officer position; terms and conditions of employment in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement with the IBPO.
B. Recommendation from the Town Council President, in consultation with the Town Treasurer, to ratify the Finance Director’s hours from 35 to 40 hours per week, retroactive to July 1, 2023
C. Approval of Municipal Road and Bridge Program State Funds Agreement between the State of Rhode Island and the Town of Scituate; authorization for the Town Council President, Town Treasurer and Town Solicitor to sign any and all documents necessary to effectuate the foregoing.
D. Recommendation from the Purchasing Agent and the Department of Public Works Director to award the bid for Clayville Schoolhouse Roof Replacement at 479 Field Hill Road, Clayville, RI. Bids received from:

F. Presentation by Scituate Sustainability Initiatives Committee of the Plastic Waste Reduction Act (R.I.G.L. § 23-19.18-1 et. seq.) passed by the General Assembly, effective January 1, 2024.
G. Authorization to post a request for proposals (“RFP”) for Town Hall Renovations.
