A.   Recommendation from the Finance Director and Town Treasurer to hire, effective January 31, 2025, Lisa Benson for Tax Collector position at rate of $74,984.00, a full-time position with other terms and conditions of employment consistent with the posted job description and benefits in accordance with the Town of Scituate Human Resource Manual.

 

12. Resolutions—Review, Discussion and/or Potential Action and/or Vote: Video

 

A.   Resolution Approving Award of Change Orders to Contracts Theretofore by The Town Council to Be Financed by $3.5 Million Bonds Approved at Financial Town Meeting

 

B.   Resolution Approving Three (3) Change Orders for Scituate Public Schools Water Project Contract:

 

i.    Concrete curb locks for Well 3 landscape island in an amount not to exceed $565.80.

ii.   Removal and disposal of asbestos concrete line running between two underground tanks in an amount not to exceed $4,389.00.

iii.  Sewer Line Connection/relocation in the courtyard in an amount not to exceed $16,893.57.

 

13. Town Business—Review, Discussion and/or Potential Action and/or Vote: Video

 

A.   Recommendation from the Police Chief to hire Tracy L. Cook as a full-time dispatcher; terms and conditions of employment consistent with the current collective bargaining agreement with NAGE R1-42.

 

B.   Recommendation from the Police Chief to hire Christopher Branch as a per-diem dispatcher, hourly rate of $24.12; terms and conditions of employment consistent with the employment handbook

 

C.   Possible bid award concerning Workers Compensation Insurance Bid (SCIT063); Recommendation from Treasurer and Purchasing Agent to award bid to the Rhode Island Interlocal Trust and to not renew agreements with Beacon Mutual as Third Part Administrator for workers compensation police Injured on Duty claims; Bid Responses received from:
