General Laws § 42-46-5(a) Subsection (2) Collective Bargaining (Union negotiations with Teamsters Local 251 for new collective bargaining agreement beginning July 1, 2025). Discussion and/or Potential action, announcement and/or vote(s) from Executive Session and/or Open Session concerning negotiations with Teamsters Local 251 for new collective bargaining agreement beginning July 1, 2025.

A.   Recommendation from the Police Chief to promote Travis Mollo to Sergeant with salary and benefits consistent with the collective bargaining agreement with International Brotherhood of Police Officers (“IBPO”) Local 502. Video

 

B.   Recommendation from the Police Chief for the following candidates to be hired from the Police Officer recruitment process. Lateral recruit candidates Jason Bolduc and Amber Perez for probationary police officer position; terms and conditions of employment in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement with the International Brotherhood of Police Officers (“IBPO”) Local 502. B.   Request from Building/Zoning Official DiOrio for the Town Council to petition the State Building Commissioner to allow a 25% increase to the Town’s permit fee schedule. Video

 

C.   Request from RI Housing and Susan Prime to waive credit requirements for a septic replacement loan. The applicant’s debt to income ratio is over the Town guideline approval of 45%. Video

 

D.   Authorization for Council President Collins to sign the Memorandum Addendum for the Hazard Mitigation Plan additional services of final grant report and close out with RIEMA totaling $936.00. The HMP grant will cover the cost of the MOA. Video
