A. The Town Council may convene into Executive Session to discuss, take possible action, and/or vote pursuant to the relevant requirements of R.I. Gen. Laws § 42-46-5 (a) Subsection (1), a discussion of the job performance, character, or physical or mental health of a person or persons, specifically to allow the Town Council to conduct interviews of potential Department of Public Works Director candidates, provided that such person or persons affected shall have been notified in advance in writing and advised that they may require that the discussion be held at an open meeting. Discussion and/or Potential action, announcement and/or vote(s) from Executive Session and/or Open Session concerning interviews of potential Department of Public Works Director candidates.
B. The Town Council may vote to move into Executive/Closed session pursuant to R.I.G.L. § 42-46-5 (a)(2) Potential Litigation regarding claim of property damage. A. Zoning Board of Review – Alternate Member, term expiring 12/31/2026. Names submitted:

A. Supporting Roadway Improvements in the Village of Hope
A. Appointment of Department of Public Works Director, including establishment of salary and benefits, with other terms and conditions of employment consistent with the Town of Scituate Human Resource Manual. Potential Candidates are Dean Randall and Brandon Cucino.
B. Recommendation from the Police Chief for the following candidate to be hired from the Police Officer recruitment process, subject to completion of all necessary hiring processes: Recruit candidate Jake R. Faiola for probationary police officer position; terms and conditions of employment in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement with the IBPO. 
C. Consideration of request from Michael DiFazio, owner of DiFazio Farm & Winery, to amend Ordinance § 6-4. Liquor Licenses limited, increasing the number of BV (Beverage Victualing) Licenses allowed in Town; currently the ordinance limits the Town to three BV Licenses; Potential referral to Town Solicitors to draft ordinance amendment(s) and/or schedule a future public hearing.
D. Request from the Gentian Garden Club to expend ARPA funds to purchase a sign to be placed in the Bell Garden (outside the Smithville Cemetery) The sign will acknowledge the clubs Civic Beautification Award received from the Rhode Island Federation for Garden Clubs. Cost not to exceed $1,000.00. Funds to be expended from the Historic Sign Project.
E. Consideration of request to construct a training building at the rear of the Chopmist Hill Fire Station.
F. Request from EMA Director Robinson to expend funds from the Opioid Settlement Fund for the following: 
i. Life Pack for N. Scituate Fire Department at a cost of $64,362 (Including 6yr. complete service warranty).
ii. Lucas Device for Scituate Emergency Medical Services at a cost of 24,799.25 (Including 6yr. complete service warranty).
iii. American Heart Association CPR/AED/Narcan training program for town residents, town employees and town volunteers. The cost not to exceed $15,000.00 annually.
iv. Opioid awareness literature and Narcan cabinets to be installed in Town buildings. The cost not to exceed $2500.00.
G. Request from the Conservation Commission/Land Trust for authorization to continue with renovations of the former Clayville School/Post Office, to be used as a permanent office for the Conservation Commission and Land Trust and for public meeting space, including: 
i. Renovations to initially include asbestos abatement and any necessary heating upgrades, per estimates provided by the DPW.
ii. Recommendation to reactivate the Clayville Schoolhouse Revitalization Committee to guide future renovations, with recommendation to include members of the Conservation Commission and Land Trust to be appointed: authorization to post for open positions.
H. Request from North Scituate Fire Department to expend up to $10,000 from the FY 25/26 Captial Budget to convert the Plymovent Pneumatic Grabber System to the Plymovent Magentic Grabber System
