10. Town Business—Review, Discussion and/or Potential Action and/or Vote:
A. Request from the Gentian Garden Club to serve wine at their annual meeting at the Community House, 546 West Greenville Road, on May 19, 2026
B. Authorization for the Rotary Club to use the parking lot and gazebo next to the North Scituate Elementary School for the Scituate Farmer’s Market, which is scheduled to open on May 9, 2026
C. Request from the DPW Director and the Town Purchasing Agent for authorization to post a Request for Proposals for Pavement Preservation Process
D. Request from the DPW Director to extend the paving contract with Pasteryak Asphalt LLC for the 2026 pacing season, using the current bid prices that are in place
E. Request from Chief Greenway to expend funds from Potterville Fire Dept Capital to purchase a fire skid unit, cost not to exceed $11,000.00
F. Authorization for the Town Council President and Town Solicitor, in coordination with the Treasurer’s Office and Senior Services Director, to sign the Grant Award Notice and Subrecipient Agreement, and all ancillary documents required, with the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority concerning the Community Vans Purchase. Memorandum of Understanding previously authorized in June of 2025.
11. Possible Motion(s) to convene into Closed/Executive Session:
A. The Town Council may convene into Executive Session to discuss, take possible action, and/or vote pursuant to the relevant requirements of R.I. General Laws § 42-46-5(a) Subsection (2) Collective Bargaining (Union negotiations with Teamsters Local 251 for new collective bargaining agreement beginning July 1, 2025). Discussion and/or Potential action, announcement and/or vote(s) from Executive Session and/or Open Session concerning a possible new collective bargaining agreement with Teamsters Local 251
12. Motion to close Executive Session / Motion to seal Executive Session minutes / Announcement of Vote(s) in Executive Session, if any.
