1.       Meeting called to order at 8:00 AM by Chairperson McCormick

Richard Finnegan requested three individuals listed on agenda to have names listed. Mrs McCormick provided the names: Mike Hassell HS Principal, Dana Morel MS Principal and Azadeh Noorbaloochi Assistant Superintendent.

Richard Finnegan requested why this School committee meeting is not available via zoom for the public. Mrs. McCormick explained that no IT staff was available as well as this Special Meeting was scheduled as timely as possible with the availability of Committee members.

2.       Motion to Convene to Executive Session Pursuant to R.I. Gen, Laws 42-46-5 (a)(1)(job performance of three individuals) to discuss the appointment of an acting superintendent of schools made by Member Medbury, seconded by Member Hart-LaFauci Motion passes 5/0

3.       Motion to close Executive Session: Seal Executive Session Minutes; and Reconvene to Open Session made by Chairperson McCormick and seconded by Member Medbury at  8:52 AM. Motion passed 5/0

4.       Reconvene to Open Session- Called to Order- Chairperson McCormick at 8:53 AM

1. Pledge of Allegiance
2. Discussion/Action/Vote Chairperson McCormick reports No votes were taken during the Executive Session.

           Chairperson McCormick makes a statement; Until the School Committee decides otherwise, Assistant Superintendent Noorbaloochi will continue in her responsibility until Superintendent Andries returns. All individuals that were discussed in Executive Session were notified and were given the opportunity to be held in Open Session.

5.       Motion to adjourn made by Member Medbury, second by Member Hart-LaFauci Motion passes at 8:55 AM
