B. Consider, discuss and act upon matters pursuant to Rhode Island General Laws Section 42-46-5(a)(2) Pending Litigation
(Case # PC-2019-11829, Helping Hands Community Partners, Inc): Discussion and possible vote authorizing the Town Manager and the Town Solicitor to finalize any settlement agreements arising from the above referenced pending matter.

B. B. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing a request for proposals for the School Department’s worker’s compensation insurance and employer’s liability insurance.
C. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing a request for proposals for High School lavatory renovations.
D. Consider, discuss, and act upon adopting a resolution in support of amending Section 1, Chapter 44-5 of the Rhode Island General Laws entitled “Levy and Assessment of Local Taxes.
E. Consider, discuss, and act upon adopting a resolution in support of amending Section 1, Chapter 44-3 of the Rhode Island General Laws entitled “Property Subject to Taxation”.
F. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing change order number 5 to Ahlborg Construction for the School Department’s capital improvement project in an amount not to exceed one million, five hundred three thousand, four hundred and eighteen dollars ($1,503,418).
G. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing a contract with GZA GeoEnvironmental, Inc in the amount of forty-four thousand, four hundred and thirty dollars ($44,430) for the closure of underground storage tanks at LaPerche and Old County Road Elementary Schools.
H. Consider, discuss, and act upon the adoption of Emergency Ordinance 2021-3 pursuant to Section 2.14 of the Smithfield Town Charter declaring the existence of an emergency posed by the novel Coronavirus known as COVID-19.
I. Consider, discuss, and act upon approving tax abatements in the amount of one hundred ninety-three dollars and ninety cents ($193.90).
