B. Schedule a public hearing on September 20, 2022 to consider and act upon amendments to Chapter 198 of the Code of Ordinances entitled “Fire Prevention” to amend Article XIV entitled “General Precautions Against Fire”.
C. Schedule a public hearing on September 20, 2022 to consider and act upon amendments to Chapter 198 of the Code of Ordinances entitled “Fire Prevention” to adopt Article XXIII entitled “Two-Way Radio Communication Enhancement Systems”.
A. Consider, discuss and act upon approving a new one (1) Special Event License for St. Philip Church for a “ St. Philip Parish Fun Day 2022”, 622 Putnam Pike on the following date:
• Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
All Special Event Licenses for St. Philip Church are subject to compliance with all State regulations, local ordinances and pending final electrical inspection.
A. Consider, discuss, and act upon adopting a resolution for the Capital Improvements Program Plan for Fiscal Years 2023-2042.
B. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing the Police Department to enter into a 5-year payment plan contract with Axon Enterprise, Inc., to purchase twenty-five (25) Tasers and their associated equipment for a total cost of sixty-three thousand dollars and zero cents ($63,000.00).
C. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing the Police Department to purchase five (5) vehicles from Colonial Municipal Group, through the Greater Boston Police Council, for an amount not to exceed two hundred and seventy-one thousand, five hundred and eighty-two dollars and twenty-one cents ($271,582.21).
D. Consider, discuss, and act upon adopting a resolution authorizing the financing of four (4) police vehicles through the Capital Lease Fund.
E. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing the Fire Department to purchase one (1) 2019 Ford Explorer from Metrowest Auto Sales of Worcester, MA for an amount not to exceed twenty-one thousand, three hundred and eighty-seven dollars and zero cents ($21,387.00).
F. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing the Town Manager to enter into contract with C.N. Wood Company of Smithfield, RI, through the Fac116 State of MA Contract, to purchase one (1) 51” Ribbon Snow Blower, one (1) 5 Position V-Plow, one (1) Rear Sander Triple Auger, and one (1) Front Flail Mower attachment for a total cost not to exceed forty-four thousand, fifty-five dollars and zero cents ($44,055.00).
G. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing the School Building Committee to purchase an additional Key Fob Entry System for the Old County Road Elementary School from ATG Group Inc., through the RI Master Price Agreement #419, in an amount not to exceed three thousand, three hundred and thirty-six dollars and seventy-one cents ($3,336.71) to be paid from the school bond.
H. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing the School Building Committee to purchase a sound system for the Old County Road School’s new Library Media Center from Uncle’s Sound Systems of Lincoln, RI in an amount not to exceed fourteen thousand, fifty dollars and zero cents ($14,050.00) to be paid from the school bond.
I. Consider, discuss, and act upon rescinding a request for proposals to complete work on West Farm Road in the Deer Run Estates subdivision.
J. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing the Senior Center to purchase one (1) 2023 Ford T350 HR XL RWD Van, White-3.5 V6 Engine, through the Greater Boston Police Council Cooperative Contract CBPC/BAPERN, for an amount not to exceed eighty-one thousand, one hundred forty-five dollars and thirty-five cents ($81,145.35) to paid with ARPA funds.
K. Consider, discuss, and act upon a bid award for rehabilitation and renovations at the East Smithfield Neighborhood Center.
L. Consider, discuss, and act upon adopting a resolution authorizing the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council to work collaboratively with the Town to develop feasibility/design plans for a bikeway segment on 20 Esmond Mill Drive (Assessor’s Plat 26, Lot 139).
M. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing a bid award for architectural and engineering services for the Boyle Athletic Complex, high school and middle schools.
N. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing a three-year fixed rate contract with Direct Energy Services for supply of natural gas.
O. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing members of the Capital Committee.
P. Consider, discuss, and act upon approving tax abatements in the amount of one hundred and thirty-three dollars and sixty cents ($133.60).
