Convene into executive session to consider, discuss, and act upon matters pursuant to Rhode Island General Laws Section 42-46-5(a)(1), Personnel; to interview Chad Morrison, Theresa Garlacy, Kelly Duff, Marcie DiOrio, and James Gass for possible appointment to a Town board or commission.

VI. Minutes:

A. Move that the minutes of the February 15, 2022 work session meeting be approved as recorded.

B. Move that the minutes of the February 15, 2022 open meeting be approved as recorded.

C. Move that the minutes of the February 23, 2022 work session meeting be approved as recorded.

VII. Consider, discuss and act upon the following possible appointments and reappointments:

A. Boyle Athletic Complex Building Committee appointments (2).

B. Land Trust appointment with a term expiring in September of 2023.

VIII. Public Hearings:

A. Continue a public hearing from February 15, 2022 to consider amendments to Chapter 321 of the Code of Ordinances entitled “Taxation” by adding Article VI entitled “Exempting or Stabilizing of Taxes on Qualifying Commercial or Manufacturing Property”.

B. Continue a public hearing from March 1, 2022, to discuss and act upon the possible revocation, or other sanction regarding the listed Victualling Only License and one (1) Peddler’s License due to non-renewal or non-compliance with the conditions of renewal:

C. Conduct a public hearing to consider, discuss and act upon approving the relocation of a Class A Retail Beverage License for Smithfield Liquor Mart, Inc. d/b/a "Smithfield Liquor Mart", relocating from 981 Greenville Avenue to 970 Douglas Pike, with the hours of operation to be Monday - Wednesday 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Thursday - Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Sunday 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., as applied, subject to compliance with all State regulations, local ordinances, a copy of an updated Retail Sales Permit and a Certificate of Good Standing.

D. Conduct a public hearing to consider, discuss and act upon approving a new B-Victualler License for Brewology, LLC d/b/a “Brewology”, located at 9 Cedar Swamp Road, Unit 4, to include outdoor Seating/Bar Service with the hours of operation to be Monday through Sunday 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., as applied, subject to compliance with all State regulations, local ordinances and final approval from the RI Department of Health.

E. Conduct a public hearing to consider, discuss and act upon approving the renewal of the Intoxicating Beverage Licenses, as listed, as applied, subject to compliance with all State regulations, local ordinances and a Certificate of Good Standing from the RI Division of Taxation.
