F. Consider, discuss, and act upon approving one (1) One-Day Beer/Wine License for the Smithfield Senior Center as follows:
· “Spring Fling Party” to be held on Thursday, April 23, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The party will take place at the Smithfield Senior Center, 1 William J. Hawkins, Jr. Trail from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., as applied, subject to all State regulations and local ordinances.
A. Consider, discuss, and act upon approval of a fee schedule for the East Smithfield Neighborhood Center.
B. Consider, discuss, and act upon adopting a resolution in support of House Bill 7911 and Senate Bill 3012 on recycling reforms.
C. Consider, discuss, and act upon adopting a resolution in support of preventing Board and Commission meetings that conflict with Town Council meetings.
A. Sitting as the Smithfield Water Supply Board, consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing the Town Manager to sign the Environmental Protection Agency’s Emerging Contaminants in Small or Disadvantaged Community Grant Agreement, administered through the RI Infrastructure Bank, for the construction services and construction administration services for the Log Road Water Main installation for a total cost of one million, four hundred eighty-one thousand, five hundred seventy dollars, and zero cents ($1,481,570.00).
B. Sitting as the Smithfield Water Supply Board, consider, discuss, and act upon a bid award for the Log Road Water Main Extension.
C. Sitting as the Smithfield Water Supply Board, consider, discuss, and act upon entering into contract with Beta Group of Lincoln, RI for construction administration for the Log Road Water Main Extension in the amount of sixty-six thousand dollars and zero cents ($66,000.00) subject to the approval of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Emerging Contaminants in Small or Disadvantaged Community Grant Agreement.
D. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing a request for proposals for the purchase of a used Ford F-350 4x4 pickup truck with plow package on behalf of the School Department.
E. Consider, discuss, and act upon adopting a resolution in support of House Bill 7691 and Senate Bill 2812 on fully funding State Aid to libraries to the full twenty-five (25) percent.
F. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing temporary hours at the Willow Field Pickleball Courts.
G. Discussion and update of the Overbrook Academy development and the possible formation of a working group.
H. Discussion of monthly grant status report.
I. Consider and discuss fire station update.
