A. Move that the minutes of the May 27, 2026 work session meeting be approved as recorded.
A. Zoning Board appointment with a term expiring in May of 2027.
B. Planning Board appointment with a term expiring in May of 2028.
A. Conduct a public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2027 Budget.
B. Conduct a public hearing to consider, discuss, and act upon proposed amendments to Chapter 204 of the Smithfield Code of Ordinances entitled “Special Flood Hazard Areas” relating to the adoption of updated FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) panels and Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports for Providence County, effective June 23, 2026.
C. Conduct a public hearing to consider, discuss, and act upon approving eight (8) One-Day Special Event Licenses for the Smithfield Recreation Department located at the Smith-Appleby House, 220 Stillwater Road to hold a “Summer Concert Series”, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the following dates:

All Special Event Licenses for the Smithfield Recreation Department are subject to compliance with all State regulations and local ordinances.
D. Conduct a public hearing to consider, discuss, and act upon approving one (1) One-Day Special Event License for Lake Forest Health and Rehabilitation Propco, LLC for a “Car Show”, 180 Log Road on the following date:
· Sunday, August 9, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
All Special Event Licenses for Lake Forest Health and Rehabilitation Propco, LLC are subject to compliance with all State regulations, local ordinances and proof of insurance.
E. Schedule a public hearing on July 21, 2026 to consider, discuss and act upon amendments to Chapter 24 entitled “Collective Bargaining Agreements”.
A. Consider, discuss, and act upon the annual renewal of one (1) Peddler’s License, as applied, subject to compliance with all State regulations and local ordinances
1. NEFL, Inc. d/b/a “New England Frozen Lemonade”, to sell frozen lemonade from a truck with RI Reg. # 186765
B. Consider, discuss, and act upon approving an application for a temporary extension of a Class D (Full Privilege) licensed premises for the Smithfield Sportsman’s Club, to include its parking lot located at 14 Walter Carey Road, for their Annual Field Day to be held, Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., as applied, subject to compliance with all State regulations, local ordinances, and conditional upon the alcohol/crowd control agreement with the Smithfield Police Department. Rain date will be Sunday, September 27, 2026.
C. Consider, discuss, and act upon approving the annual renewal of one (1) Pool Table License, as applied, subject to compliance with all State regulations and local ordinances.
1. The Last Resort, Inc. d/b/a “The Last Resort”, 325 Farnum Pike (one pool table)
A. Consider, discuss, and act upon an Appropriation and Tax Levy Resolution for Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2027.
B. Consider, discuss, and act upon entering into contract, through the RI Master Price Agreement #584B, with Beta Group, Inc. of Lincoln, RI for the Highview Hilldale Estates Phase 1 Design in an amount not to exceed two hundred twelve thousand, two hundred sixty-five dollars and zero cents ($212,265.00) to be funded by the Public Works operating budget.
C. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing the Town Manager to enter into a Lease Agreement with Vertical Bridge, REIT, LLC for the cell tower located behind Fire Station #1, 607 Putnam Pike.
D. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing the Town Manager to enter into contract, through the RI Master Price Agreement #494, with Aharonian & Associates for architectural schematic and construction documents for the Ice Rink in an amount not to exceed thirty-two thousand, two hundred fifty dollars and zero cents ($32,250.00).
