A. Schedule a public hearing on April 7, 2026 to consider, discuss, and act upon amendments to Article 9 of the Smithfield Zoning Ordinance entitled “Special Districts”, Sections 9.4.8, Table 3 - EGO Land Uses, relating to hotel room thresholds within the Economic Growth Overlay District.
B. Schedule a public hearing on April 7, 2026 to consider, discuss, and act upon amendments to Chapter 48 of the Smithfield Code of Ordinances entitled “Budget and Financial Review Board” to add Section 48-5 entitled “Compensation” sponsored by Council President John J. Tassoni, Jr.
C. Schedule a public hearing on April 7, 2026 to consider, discuss, and act upon amendments to Chapter 11 of the Smithfield Code of Ordinances entitled “Boards of Commissions” to add Section 11-9 entitled “Zoning Board Compensation” sponsored by Council President John J. Tassoni, Jr.

A. Consider, discuss and act upon approving a new Mobile Food Truck License for Big Bobby’s Q, LLC d/b/a “Big Bobby’s Q”, to sell BBQ from a truck with RI Reg. # 1TB 312, 31 Phillips Lane, Harmony, RI, as applied, subject to compliance with all State regulations and local ordinances.
B. Consider, discuss and act upon approving a new Mobile Food Truck License for Kelsey Almeida d/b/a “Kelsey’s Cake 401”, to sell pastries and cakes from a truck with RI Reg. #1YQ571, 97 Limerock Road, Smithfield, RI, as applied, subject to compliance with all State regulations and local ordinances.

E. Consider, discuss and act upon approving a new Victualling License for Anaya Holdings, LLC d/b/a “The Fresh Monkee,” 9 Cedar Swamp Road, Unit 5, as applied, subject to compliance with all State regulations and local ordinances.
F. Consider, discuss and act upon approving a new Victualling License for ALG 33 Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a “Piezoni’s,” 259 Putnam Pike, as applied, subject to compliance with all State regulations, local ordinances and a Food Business License from the RI Department of Health.
A. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing the Town Manager to enter into contract, through the RI Master Price Agreement #584B, with BETA Group, Inc. of Lincoln, RI to conduct a hydrology and hydraulic study of the Spencer Road neighborhood for the sum of twenty-eight thousand, five hundred ten dollars and zero cents ($28,510.00) to be paid for with grant funds from the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank.
B. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing the Town Manager to enter into contract, through the RI Master Price Agreement #584B, with AI Engineers, Inc., of Providence, RI to conduct a structural evaluation and hydraulic and feasibility study of the Julien Street culvert for the sum of sixteen thousand, eight hundred, sixty dollars and zero cents ($16,860.00), to be paid for with grant funds from the Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank.
C. Consider, discuss, and act upon authorizing a bid award for commercial kitchen equipment upgrades at the Senior Center subject to review by the Town Solicitor.
D. Consider, discuss, and act upon adopting a resolution in support of municipalities collaborating in reviewing, analyzing, and responding to the 2024 and 2025 affordable housing laws sponsored by Council Member Michael P. Iannotti, Council Vice President Angelica L. Bovis, and Council Member Rachel S. Toppi.
