The Smithfield Planning & Economic Development Department will hold a public hearing on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. at the Town Council Chambers, 2nd Floor, 64 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917. All persons entitled to be heard will be heard.

A.       Call meeting to order.

B.       Emergency evacuation and health notification. 

A.       Public Hearing — CDBG PY25 Call for Proposals: receive public testimony and written comments on proposed activities for the State’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program Year 2025 Competitive round.  

A.       Open public comment pursuant to local ordinance. 

B.       Adjournment.
