At a REGULAR SESSION of the Town Council of the Town of South Kingstown, County of Washington, in the State of Rhode Island, held at the Town Hall, in and for said Town on the 5^th day of August 2021 at 7:30 PM.

Roll Call is taken and all members are present.

The following citizens are present and comment regarding applicants for appointment to fill two vacancies on the School Committee:

Joe Jacome comments in support of Carol A. Vetter.

Leslie Bannister Pierini comments in support of Carol A. Vetter.

Gregory Sweet comments in support of David K. Cote and Carol A. Vetter.

Council President Collins opens discussion.

Council Vice President McEntee speaks in support of appointing Michael K. Marran and Carol A. Vetter to the School Committee to fill the 2 vacancies.

Councilwoman Kelso speaks in support of appointing Michael K. Marran and Carol A. Vetter.

Councilwoman Bergner speaks in support of appointing Carol A. Vetter and Michael K. Marran.

Councilwoman Rose speaks in support of appointing Michael K. Marran and Carol A. Vetter.

Council President Collins speaks in support of appointing Michael K. Marran and Carol A. Vetter.

A motion to appoint Michael K. Marran and Carol A. Vetter to the School Committee to fill vacancies until November 2022 is made by Council Vice President McEntee and seconded by Councilwoman Bergner, and it is

UNANIMOUSLY VOTED: to appoint Michael K. Marran and Carol A. Vetter to the School Committee to fill 2 vacancies until November 2022.

UNANIMOUSLY VOTED: to adjourn at 7:56 PM.
