The regular meeting of the South Kingstown School Committee was held on October 26, 2010 at the South Kingstown School Department Administration Building at 7:00 PM.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Anthony Mega (Chair), Kevin Jackson (Assistant Chair), Maureen Cotter, Scott Mueller, Frederick Frostic, and Richard Angeli and Elizabeth Morris.
ADMINISTRATORS PRESENT: Kristen Stringfellow, Superintendent; Mary Kelley, Assistant Superintendent; and John Ritchotte, Director of Administrative Services.
OTHERS PRESENT: School Committee Candidate Raissa Mosher.
Dr. Mega called the October 26, 2010 School Committee Meeting to order at 7:17 PM.
The Superintendent facilitated a strategic planning work session with the School Committee and candidate. There were five objectives:
1. Review the School Committee summer retreat on strategic planning;
2. Walk-through the draft strategic planning document;
3. Discussion on Peer Review;
4. Discussion on Focus Group applicants;
5. Discussion on the charge of the Focus Group.
Dr. Mega asked for feedback from the audience.
