1.         6:00 PM - Call to Order

A. Call to Order

Roland Benjamin called the May 29, 2018 school committee meeting to order at 6:03 PM.

2.         The School Committee may seek to convene in executive session in accordance with R.I. Gen. Laws for the purpose(s) of:

A. Personnel (RIGL 42-46-5(a)(1)) - discussion of job performance of administrator

Unanimous roll call vote to enter executive session for the purpose of personnel at 6:03 PM.  The affected party had been notified in advance in writing, and opted not to have discussion held in open session.

3.         Open Session

The School Committee returned to open session at 9:36 PM.

·       Reporting of vote(s) taken in executive session

Roland Benjamin reported votes taken in executive session:

·       vote to approve the Superintendent’s Goal #1 and Goal #2; motion by Mosher, second by Macinanti, vote was 6-1-0, Benjamin voting nay;

·       vote to authorize Roland Benjamin to complete and sign the Superintendent’s evaluation; motion by Mosher, second by Mueller, unanimously approved 7-0-0;

·       vote to extend the contract of the Superintendent to June 30, 2021; motion by Mosher, second by Mueller, vote was 5-0-2, Collins and Cummiskey abstained; and

·       vote to increase the salary of the Superintendent by 2% for 2020-2021 school year; motion by Mosher, second by Mueller, unanimously approved 7-0-0.
