Ordinances (second reading)   

A.     Ordinance No. __-24: An ordinance approving the final plan/plat for the Fieldstone Place Subdivision, Phase Five, 24 Lots, +/-8.828 acres. (Introduced by Mr. Kessler)

Summary: This ordinance approves the Final Plan/Plat, of the Fieldstone Place Subdivision, Phase Five consisting of +/-8.828 acres, located on part of Inlot #4117, consisting of 24 lots.

Resolutions (one reading required)   

A.      Resolution No. __-24: A resolution approving the construction agreement for the Summit Landing Subdivision, Section 2.

Summary: This resolution approves the Construction Agreement and        Subdivders Agreement for Section Two of the Summit Landing Subdivision.

B.      Resolution No. __-24: A resolution authorizing the City Manager to enter into an agreement with the Tipp City Exempted Village Schools to provide police services and share costs.

Summary: This resolution authorizes the City Manager to enter into a two- year agreement with the Tipp City Exempted Village School District to      provide police services at various school locations, functions and events.

Ordinances (first reading)

A.    Ordinance No. __-24: An ordinance requiring the submission of certain proposed Charter amendments to the Board of Elections and declaring an emergency.

Summary: The Charter Review Committee held three meetings in 2024 and has recommended 6 (six) changes be made to the Tipp City Charter.

B.    Ordinance No. __-24: An ordinance amending Chapter 37 – Municipal Employment to add new positions in the Police Department, reclassify a posiiton in the Administrative Department, and to make such other changes needed to clarify existing language and processes performed in the Administration of this Chapter of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Tipp City, Ohio.

Summary:  This ordinance reclassifies a position in the Administrative Department and adds two additional positions within the Police Department.

C.    Ordinance No. __-24: An ordinance updating Chapter 37 Exhibit “A” of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Tipp City establishing pay and benefit schedules for all City employees not covered by a Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Summary: This ordinance amends and updates Chapter 37 Exhibit “A” in accordinance with the new pay scale.

D.    Ordinance No. __-24: An ordinance approving the final plat for the Summit Landing Subdivision, Section 2, 62 Lots, +/-21.895 acres.

Summary: This ordinance approves the Final Plan/Plat, of the Fieldstone Place Subdivision, Section 2 consisting of +/-21.895 acres, located on part of Inlot #3604, consisting of 62 lots.

Council welcomes the comments and input of the public during the Council meetings.  In order to provide an orderly fashion in which all interested parties have an opportunity to address Council, Council has adopted the following procedure for citizen’s comments during any portion of the Council meeting or Public Hearing.

 

Any citizen who wishes to address Council must first seek recognition from the President of Council.  Upon recognition by the President, the speaker should approach the podium, state their name and make their comments.  Speakers should not leave the podium to approach Councilmembers without first obtaining permission.  After completion of their comments, Council would request that the speakers return to their seat so that any other interested persons could then be recognized and address Council.

 

The purpose of this procedure is to afford the maximum opportunity for citizen input without any type of disruption of the Council proceedings.  While others are addressing Council from the podium, Council requests that audience members not make comments to Council or to individuals at the podium to prevent any potential confusion or disruption.

 

If you have a disability and require a reasonable accommodation to fully participate in a Tipp City event, please contact Janice Bates, Clerk of Council, at least 72 hours before the event via email (batesj@tippcity.net) or telephone (937-667-8425) to discuss your accessibility needs.  Please make clear in your communication with Tipp City any request for auxiliary aid, use of service for effective communication or a modification of any policies or procedures to participate in any Tipp City public meeting or event.  Any request for a Certified ASL interpreter, auxiliary aid or any other reasonable accommodation should be made as soon as possible, but no later than (72) seventy-two hours prior to the event.
