STATE OF RHODE ISLAND AND PROVIDENCE PLANTATIONS COUNTY OF NEWPORT
The Town Council of the Town of Tiverton, County and State aforesaid held a Special Council Meeting on Tuesday, the 11th day of February 2020 at 7:00 pm at the Tiverton High School Library, 100 N. Brayton Road, Tiverton, RI
Council President Hilton (arrived late), Vice President deMedeiros, Councilor Clarke, Councilor Cook and Councilor Perry
Councilor Driggs, Councilor Edwards and Town Clerk did not attend
School Committee called their meeting to order with a Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag at 7:00 pm.
Vice President deMedeiros called the Council Special Meeting to order at approximately 7:05 pm with a roll call.
Town Council Attendance at Tiverton School Committee Meeting – Possible Discussion of FY 2021 School Budget
Several Council members attended and listened to the Tiverton School Committee Meeting during their presentation/discussion of their FY 2021 budget. There were no collective or formal discussions by Council. No action or votes were taken.
Council adjourned after the School Committee budget presentation.
Councilor Perry motioned to adjourn, seconded by Councilor Cook. Motion passed unanimously.
Council adjourned at approximately 8:20 pm.
