Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must contact the Town Clerk’s Office at 343 Highland Road or call (401) 625-6704 at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance of the meeting.
Pursuant to RIGL §42-46-6(b): “Nothing contained herein shall prevent a public body, other than a school committee, from adding additional items to the agenda by a majority vote of the members. Such additional items shall be for informational purposes only and may not be voted on except where necessary to address an unexpected occurrence that requires immediate action to protect the public or to refer the matter to an appropriate committee or to another body or official.”
The public may send written comments by regular mail to the Town Clerk at 343 Highland Road, Tiverton, RI 02878, or place them in the grey drop box located outside Town Hall by noon on the day of the meeting.

A. Approval of the proposed amendment to the Tiverton Code of Ordinances Appendix A Zoning, Article
IV, District Use Regulations, Section 15, Prohibited Uses. This proposed ordinance will amend
Appendix A Zoning, Article IV, District Use Regulations, Section 15, Prohibited Uses to amend Section
15 (l) Open lot storage requirements related to public utilities. It would allow for the temporary
storage of non-hazardous materials and equipment for a permitted public utility project in General
Commercial and Industrial Zones for a period not to exceed 18 months with the ability to ask for
another 18 month extension
A. RetroXpo/Jose Souza - Requesting Special Event Permit for Comic Con style event at Longplex Family
& Sports Center with local artists and vendors on September 7, 2024, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm,
subject to meeting all legal requirements
B. Alison Murphy/Green Kids Consignment, LLC – Requests approval of Special Event Permit for
children’s consignment sale at Longplex Family & Sports Center on September 25, 2024, from 8:00 am
