1.    Approve Meeting Minutes

a.    Regular Session Minutes August 14, 2024

b.    Executive Session Minutes August 14, 2024, accept and close the executive session minutes and seal the same pursuant to RIGL 42-26-4 and 42-46-5.

·         Motion to approve the minutes of August 14, 2024. was made by Dr. Larkin

·         Seconded by E. Pavao

·         The vote was 5 - 0

IV.        CHARIPERSON’S REMARKS
D. Farnworth extended a warm Welcome Back to School special invitation to join school improvement teams and PTOs. And also added that Student Fundraisers are welcome to add any to the agendas.

V.        SUPERINTENDENT’S UPDATE

1.    Introduce our new part time Athletic Director, Mr. Ken Gouveia

Dr. Larkin made a motion to move up Items 7-2 and 7-5 on the agenda

VI.        OLD BUSINESS

1.    Approve Home School Requests for the 2024-2025 School Year

·         M. DeCotis motioned to approve the 25 students for Home School Requests.

·         E. Pavao seconded the motion.

·         Vote 4-0

VII.        NEW BUSINESS - CONSIDERATION AND VOTE TO APPROVE THE FOLLOWING

1.    Vote to Accept a Donation from the Tiverton Lions Club to Benefit CTE expenses

·         D. Pallasch motioned to accept the $1,000.00 donation for the CTE Program from the Tiverton Lions Club.

·         Seconded by M. DeCotis

·         Vote 4-0

2.    Vote to Approve Field Trip Request KSA Basketball Tournament

·         Dr. Larkin made a motion to approve the request for the KSA Basketball Tournament.

·         Seconded by E. Pavao

·         The vote to approve was 5 - 0

3.    Vote to Accept Desk Donation to THS from CCRI

·         D. Pallasch made a motion to accept the donation of 400 student desks/chairs from CCRI

·         M. DeCotis seconded the motion.

·         The vote was unanimous.

4.    Vote to Approve Capital Request

·         M. DeCotis made a motion to approve the Capital Request for $127,000.00

·         D. Pallasch seconded the motion.

·         Vote was 4-0

o   D. Pallasch motioned to approve the completion letter for Capital payment to be sent to the Town.

o   Seconded by M. DeCotis

o   Vote 4-0

5.    Vote to Approve Finance Director Contract

·         D. Pallasch motioned to approve the Finance Director's Contract for Brendan Andrade.

·         Seconded by Dr. Larkin

·         The vote to approve was 4 - 1 E. Pavao voted against
