a.    Tiverton Town Council Capital Request for THS Heating Repair.

·         Town Council approved a $100,000 blanket for system-wide heating repairs.

·         B. Andrade updated the board on additional funds (up to $20,000) for Tiverton High School.

b.    Capital Request Updates

·         Approved: Wiring & Cable Project, bathroom partitions (three elementary schools), 11 additional exterior doors, athletic field maintenance, tennis courts, roof diagnostics ($407,135 total).

·         Pending Review: Touchview screens (additional information requested).

·         Not Approved: Trenching for lower athletic field electrical.

·         In-House Work: TMS painting was removed from the request list.

·         Deficit Closing Strategies:

o   Dr. Sanchioni outlined an initial FY26 deficit of $1,655,005.

o   Budget adjustments include contract obligations, special education, transportation, and energy.

o   Enrollment decline impacts staffing:

§  Maintaining three elementary schools: 12 positions cut.

§  Consolidating to two elementary schools: 14 positions cut.

o   A line-by-line expense review will be provided by February 11.

o   If Fort Barton School closes, it will still serve educational purposes.

o   D. Perry urged early communication with the Town Council.
