Chapter 13 – Offenses and Miscellaneous Provisions (first reading)

Article I. IN GENERAL

Sec13- 5 Minors, possession, or consumption of cannabis in public places, etc.

(a)    It shall be unlawful for any minor under the age of twenty-one (21) to have in their possession cannabis in a public place, on a public way, or upon any public property.

(b)    It shall be unlawful for any person to consume cannabis, whether by smoking or vaping, in a public place, on a public way, or upon any public property.

(c)    Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be punished as provided in sections 1-8.
