ORDINANCE:

O-1

Chapter 10 Harbors and Vessels’, Article III. Mooring Regulations, Sec. 10-45. - Mooring permit waiting list. (2nd reading)

A waiting list will be established and maintained by the harbormaster's office. The waiting list will be determined by the date on which all applications have been received.

(1) Once a mooring location becomes available the harbormaster shall notify the next appropriate individual on the waiting.

(2) Once notified, the applicant must apply for the new permit within fifteen (15) days.

(3) Individuals on the waiting list are required to renew their applications each year. An annual waiting list renewal fee of ten dollars ($10.00) will be required. Individuals failing to renew their application will be removed from the waiting list.

(4) Mooring permits shall be permitted at no greater than a 3:1 resident to nonresident ratio from the waiting list.

Chapter 11, Licenses and Business Regulations Article II. Alcoholic Beverages, Taverns and Victualling Houses, Sec. 11-28. – Limitation on the number of Class B Liquor Licenses. (1st reading)

Pursuant to the provisions of section 3-5-16 of the General Laws, the town council hereby limits the maximum number of class B liquor licenses.

(a) The maximum number of class BV beverage licenses to be issued by the town is fixed     at twenty-eight (28).
