MEETING MINUTES

 

 

1.     Meeting called to order

The meeting was called order by Chairman Lambert and 3:09 pm

 

2.     Roll Call

Members present:  Chairman Ray Lambert, Vice Chair Nancy LeBlanc, J. P Millette via Zoom, Alternate Members Paul Richards, Nancy Parente.  Please note for voting purposes P. Richards was able to vote due to the absence of J. P. Millette

 

3.     Approval of the minutes of the March 30, 2022 BOC meeting

The minutes from the March 30, 2022 meeting were approved with amendments.

Motion made by Vice Chair Nancy LeBlanc, seconded by Paul Richards for approval of the March 30 minutes with amendments, All Ayes

 

4.     Certification of the Final Canvass List

The Final Canvass list for the All-Day Referendum was certified.  Motion made by Vice Chair Nancy LeBlanc, seconded by Paul Richards for Certification of the Final Canvass List, All Ayes

 

5.     Certification of Warrant for All Day Referendum

The Warrant for the All-Day Referendum was certified.  Moved by Paul Richards, seconded by Vice Chair Nancy LeBlanc, All Ayes

 

6.     Poll Workers Update

There was a discussion concerning the list of Poll Workers provided.  The discussion concerned that Paul Richards was the moderator listed.  Vice Chair N. LeBlanc has reservations about the moderator. Chair Ray Lambert is worried about Paul Richards being on the board and if he could continue to be a poll worker.  Motion to table the poll workers update moved by Vice Chair N. LeBlanc, seconded by Chairman Ray Lambert, Paul Richards abstained.  All Ayes.

 

7.     Approval of Polling Place for All Day Referendum Voting

Approval of Polling Place for All Day Referendum Voting must be amended to read West Warwick Civic Center Field House.  Moved by Vice Chair Nancy LeBlanc, seconded by Paul Richards, All Ayes.

 

8.     Public Comment

There was no public comment.

 

9.     Adjournment

Motion moved by Vice Chair Nancy LeBlanc, seconded by Paul Richards to adjourn at 3:57pm.  All Ayes
