MEETING MINUTES

 

1.     Meeting called to order

 

The meeting was called to order at 3:03 P.M. by Chairman Lambert.

 

2.     Roll Call

 

Present:  Chairman R. Lambert, Vice Chair N. Leblanc, Member J.P. Millette, Alternate P. Richards, and Alternate N. Parente

 

3.     Approval of the minutes from the September 7, 2022 BOC Meeting

 

MOTION made by N. Leblanc, second by J.P. Millette for approval of the September 2, 2022 BOC meeting minutes.                   All Ayes

 

4.     Certification of Provisional Ballots from the September 13, 2022 Statewide Primary

 

C. Crowley reviewed the dispositions of the Provisional Ballots with the Board.

 

MOTION made by N. Leblanc, second by J.P. Millette to certify the Provisional Ballots from the September 13, 2022 Statewide Primary.                      All Ayes

 

5.     Certification of the Tabulation of Votes from the September 13, 2022 Statewide Primary

 

MOTION made by N. Leblanc, seconded by J. P. Millette to certify the tabulation of votes from the September 13, 2022 Statewide Primary.             All Ayes

 

6.     Lottery for Ballot Placement for Local Candidates on the November 8, 2022 General Election

 

The Board performed a lottery to determine ballot placements for Candidates for Town Council in Ward Three.  It was determined that Jason Messier will be placed first on the ballot, and John Read will be placed second on the ballot. 

 

MOTION made by N. Leblanc, seconded by J.P. Millette for approval of ballot placement of Town Council Ward Three Candidates.               All Ayes

 

7.     Public Comment

 

R. Lambert commends the Board of Canvassers and Town Clerk’s Staff for a well-run election.

 

8.     Adjournment

 

MOTION made by N. Leblanc, seconded by J.P. Millette to adjourn at 3:50 P.M.    

All Ayes
