Review and approval of the January 9, 2023, meeting minutes.
Motion to approve the January 09, 2023 minutes by Mr. Barrette, seconded by Mr. Coutu. All in favor.
This item is the resolution joining with the Town of Exeter and urging rejection of the changes to the Rhode Island Enabling Acts, RIGL 45-22.2, 45-23 and 45-24, as proposed by the Rhode Island House of Representatives Land Use Commission dated November 10, 2022.
Mr. DiFiore reviewed the item with the board and discussion took place. Mr. Barrette also informed the board that the WW Housing Authority is doing a lot for affordable housing in town. He also said he feels it would be beneficial for the Executive Director to appear before the Town Council to make them aware of what’s being done.
Motion to table by Mr. Barrette, seconded by Mr. Appolonia.
