MEETING MINUTES

 

The meeting was called to order by Town Council President Gosselin at 6:04 p.m.

 

 

Roll Call taken by Deputy Town Clerk

 

Members Present:  Councilman Licciardi

                                 Councilman Messier

                                 Councilwoman Williamson

                                 Councilman Vice President D’Amico

                                 Councilman President Gosselin

                     

Members Absent: None

 

Quorum on Record declared by Deputy Town Clerk

 

Others Present: Town Solicitor Williamson

 

 

EXECUTIVE SESSION

 

 

1.      Under Section 42-46-4 and 42-46-5(a)(2) of Rhode Island General Laws, the Town Council to convene into Executive Session/closed meeting to discuss successor collective bargaining agreements with:

 

1.      The International Brotherhood of Police Officers Local 312;

2.      Local 1104, International Association of Firefighters, AFL-CIO; and

3.      R.I. Council 94, AFSCME, AFL-CIO West Warwick Town Employees Local 2045.

 

 

 

The Town Council convened into Executive Session to discuss successor collective bargaining agreements with:

 

1.   The International Brotherhood of Police Officers Local 312;

2    Local 1104, International Association of Firefighters, AFL-CIO; and

3. R.I. Council 94, AFSCME, AFL-CIO West Warwick Town Employees Local 2045.

 

OPEN SESSION

 

The meeting was called back to order at 7:22 p.m.

 

Members Present:  Councilman Licciardi

                                 Councilman Messier

                                 Councilwoman Williamson

                                 Councilman Vice President D’Amico

                                 Councilman President Gosselin

 

                                

Members Absent: None

 

Quorum on Record declared by Deputy Town Clerk

 

Others Present: Town Solicitor Williamson

 

Councilman Licciardi made a motion, to close executive session meeting under Section 42-46-4 and 42-46-5 (a)(1) of Rhode Island General Laws, that the Town Council close the Executive Session held tonight, December 15, 2020 to discuss the successor collective bargaining agreements with:

 

1.   The International Brotherhood of Police Officers Local 312;

2.   Local 1104, International Association of Firefighters, AFL-CIO; and

3.   R.I. Council 94, AFSCME, AFL-CIO West Warwick Town Employees Local 2045.

 

 

Seconded by Council Vice President D’Amico and approved by a Roll Call Vote:

 

                                 Councilman Licciardi

                                 Councilman Messier

                                 Councilwoman Williamson

                                 Councilman Vice President D’Amico

                                Councilman President Gosselin

 

Adjournment:

 

 Councilman Messier made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Councilwoman Williamson and approved by a voice vote.

 

The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
