Present: Town Council President D. Gosselin, Town Council Vice President M. Williamson, Town Councilman J. Messier, and Town Councilman J. Licciardi
Also present: Town Manager M. Knott, Department of Public Works Director D. Oullette, and Town Clerk S. Rapose
01 Authorization to Award Contract to Innovative Sport Surfacing for Installation of Rubberized Playground Surface at the Factory Street Playground in an amount not to exceed $82,296 
MOTION made by M. Williamson, second by J. Messier for authorization to award contract to Innovative Sport Surfacing for installation of rubberized playground surface at the Factory Street Playground in an amount not to exceed $82,296.
D. Oullette explained that there were four bids received on this project. Five Seasons bid $118,170. Innovative Sport Surfacing bid $82,286. Little Tikes bid $95,336. Obrien and Sons bid $87,173. He recommends awarding bid to Innovative Sport Surfacing in the amount of $82,286. They are available to start the project in mid-June. They have three crews that work in the New England area, and have 10-15 years experience.
J. Licciardi asks what the estimated date of completion would be.
D. Oullette answers that it will take three days to complete. They complete the job in two pours, with one day in between for curing.
