01              Consideration of the School Department’s Stage II Capital Improvement Plan

 

K. Tarasevich, Superintendent of Schools was in attendance.  There are currently 21 projects on the Capital Improvement Plan.  Each school in the district has a project on the plan.  The plan requires no additional funding from the Town. 

 

J. Spagna, Finance Director for the School Department, explains the needs of each school and how the projects will be funded.

T. Oates, of 6 Colonial Way, shares concerns with a blocked fire hydrant in Murray Square because of parking.  He also shares concerns with the on street parking on Rice and Pulaski Street.  It could be an issue for EMS.

 

D. Read, of 62 Andrews Avenue, shares concerns with the amount of electrical work that is needed at the Civic Center.
