F. Discussion/Action – Consideration of Interest Rate on Delinquent Taxes
Council discussion ensues. They determined that they do not want to change the current interest rate of 12%.
NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
G. Public Hearing and VOTE on the Adoption of General Fund Budget for FY2026 (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026) in the amount of $125,348,771
K. Benoit explains that this budget includes a 1.73% tax increase. The new tax rate for a single-family home will be $14.29 per thousand.
MOTION made by M. Williamson, seconded by J. Messier for adoption of General Fund Budget for FY2026 (July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026) in the amount of $125,348,771.
