J. New Business
01 Consideration of Amendments to the Determination of Residential Zoning Districts
Solicitor Al Difiore proposes ordinance amendments to address the issue of property owners having sheds and other structures too close to property lines.
Council discussed the issue at great length, and while they acknowledge an issue, they do not feel that the proposed ordinance amendments are the correct solution. They ask A. Difiore to propose alternate solutions at a future meeting.

An error was found on the abatement list in the amount of $30,525.00 for J&D Auto Salvage. Council asked to remove that abatement from the list to be addressed after correction.

06 Consideration of Relief for Delinquent Tax Payments for Government Employees
Council discussed relief for government employees during the government shutdown. It was determined that the Tax Collector has policies in place to address this issue.
No action was taken.
07 Approval of 2026 Town Council Meeting Schedule

08 School Building Committee Update
Manager Knott states that the Committee is meeting the following day at 4pm. They will be submitting an RFP for the Payan Street project after the New Year. The Committee is hoping that the Payan Street project will be completed by Fall of 2026.
