Attorney Peter Skwirz was in attendance on behalf of Ursillo, Teitz, and Ritch.
MOTION made by M. Williamson, seconded by J. Messier to appoint the law firm of Ursillo, Teitz, and Ritch, LTD effective immediately to serve as special legal counsel for litigation and other matters as directed by the Town Council or the Town Manager; pursuant to a legal services agreement approved by Council. Effective July 1, 2026, upon retirement of the current Solicitor, The Town of West Warwick appoints UTF to serve as the Town Solicitor to provide general legal services, pursuant to a legal services agreement approved by the Council. The Town Council and Town Manager may at their discretion arrange for a suitable transition period prior to the current Town Solicitor’s retirement of July 1, 2026, including without limitation joint attendance at Town Council meetings, to facilitate the transition from the retiring Town Solicitor to UTR. 01 School Building Committee Update
Manager Knott states that the School Bond Referendum held on October 8th passed by a 2 to 1 margin. Out of 1705 voters, 1172 voted to approve, and 533 voted to reject. They will be starting with the Payan Street Project.

03 Tax Assessment Board of Review -Appointment to fill a vacancy for three-year term
04 School Building Committee – Architectural, Engineering, Construction Experience Needed
