F.         Public Hearing on the proposed FY2027 (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027) Municipal Budget Video

 

M. Knott, Town Manager, presented an overview of the proposed FY2027 budget, outlining:

·       A proposed total budget increase of approximately $6.5 million dollars

·       A proposed levy increase of 3.98%

·       Debt service impacts related to the $71 million dollar school bond

·       Healthcare, pension, insurance, and capital expenditure considerations

·       Planned use of $1.5 million dollar fund balance

 

There were no public comments.

 

MOTION made by M. Williamson, seconded by J. Messier for authorization of submission of the proposed FY2027 budget in the amount of $131,905,134 for final consideration at the May 12, 2026 Special Town Council Meeting.                    All Ayes
