MOTION made by M. Williamson, seconded by J. Messier for approval of Request from the Friendly Son’s of St. Patrick for a Parade License for March 15, 2026.                     All Ayes

 

H.        Appointments and Resignations

01     Request for Appointment or Re-Appointment to the Juvenile Hearing Board for term ending December 2029 – Three (3) Positions

         A.            Virginia DeMasi – Re-Appointment

         B.            Anna-Maria Raimondo – Re-Appointment

         C.            Kenneth Naylor Jr.

         D.            Glen Terilli

 

MOTION made by M. Williamson, seconded by J. Messier for Re-Appointment of Virginia DeMasi and Anna-Maria Raimondo to the Juvenile Hearing Board for term ending December 2029.                 All Ayes

 

Kenneth Naylor Jr. and Glen Terilli were in attendance. 

 

It is determined that there are some inconsistencies in prior Juvenile Hearing Board appointments and the ordinance.  After much discussion, Council determined that they would like to consider potential changes to the ordinance at a future meeting. 

 

MOTION made by J. Messier, seconded by M. Williamson to table the appointment of the 2^nd alternate position.              All Ayes

01     Resolution Authorizing Bid Award for Gasoline and Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel

 

MOTION made by M. Williamson, seconded by J. Messier for approval of Bid Award for Gasoline and Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuel.                  All Ayes

 

02     Cancellation of Taxes in the Amount of $197.84 as Requested by the Tax Assessor

 

D. Gosselin recuses himself.

 

MOTION made by J. Messier, seconded by M. Dennison for cancellation of taxes in the amount of $197.84.

03     School Building Committee Update

 

Manager Knott states that the School Building Committee currently has three outstanding RFPs.  The RFP for the Construction Manager at Risk closes on February 5^th.  The RFP for a Commissioning Agent closes on February 5^th.  The RFP for a General Contractor for the Payan Street project closes on February 17^th.  The next School Building Committee meeting is 3pm on February 11^th.
